At the age of  32, Shepard became president of a 660-employee men’s and boy’s apparel  wholesale manufacturing company, charged with managing turnaround from  bankruptcy. He restructured all operations and aligned internal  resources, including sales and distribution, sourcing, lease  renegotiation, and team building. This 17-year “trial-by-fire”  experience prepared him to consult with a wide variety of businesses,  fulfilling diverse roles — whether they be executive, managerial,  operational, administrative, marketing, or financial.

In the  ensuing 23 years, he has acted as a business consultant, held interim  executive management positions and built three startups from the ground  up. He worked with New York investment banks to secure equity  investments in small- to mid-sized businesses, developed business and  operating plans for second-round financing and provided marketing  analysis of early-stage Internet startups. Before launching his current  venture, Location Traffic, he founded and managed a publishing and  e-commerce company.

Having personally experienced in his early  career the overwhelming workload that plagues so many business owners,  Shepard has made it his personal mission to help his clients achieve a  healthy work-life balance. By crystallizing priorities, increasing daily  operational efficiency, and increasing sales and profits through  strategic marketing decisions, these fortunate business owners know  exactly where to focus their energies every day so that they can execute  with confidence, purpose and freedom.
